The golfing world was recovering today from a shock announcement that Eddie Daniels has pulled out of the PIGS Tour 2009

No specific reason was given by the defending PIG Champion and rumours were rife that his discontent at last years culinary experiences were at the forefront of his shock decision. Also he has expressed his disgust at the apparant boycot of this publication to publish details of his win last year. [Editor note: It is true that we didn't run the story....I just couldn't be arsed]. Another source stated that Lisa (40), Mr Daniels spouse had decided to put her foot down and demand a holiday elsewhere at the same time as the tournament. "I mean its fucking crazy," said the source, who wished to retain his anonymity for fear of reprisals, "you wouldn't get Tiger Woods pulling out because his wife fancied a trip to Bognor would you?"
As the golfing world awaits more details and hopes that Daniels' distinguished and glittering career isn't really at an end we are all asking the question....is this the biggest spat ever?
